It's a quarter to eight in the morning and I'm waiting for a guest to exit the bathroom. Once that's done, it's a swift breakfast and off walking for a few hours. Lawrence seems pleasant enough so far. I'm very grateful for WE Quimby's kind assistance in bringing me from Kansas airport to town and I enjoyed our unscheduled tour of Missouri also. She took me straight to the fireworks and antiques emporium. That was very insightful of her as I enjoy nothing more than wrecking treasured and delicate veneers, inlays and the such in an orgy of whoops, sparkles and bangs.

I'll write more of Lawrence once I've had a look around. Above is a print I bought at the Roerich House. I am particularly enjoying the current exchange rate!
